JVC rolled out its XA-F52 and XA-F112 digital audio players, 512MB or 1GB trinkets that play MP3s and WMA files, and have built-in mono microphones for voice recording. They can also directly record from analog devices with an audio line input. Apparently aimed at the iPod shuffle, the necklace-like form factor has headphones attached to a lanyard.

Barely over 3 inches tall, the tiny flash memory-based player runs on a single AAA battery and lets you delete songs from its list, and has a Favorite Key function that plays favorite songs repeatedly with a simple button push. Pricing information wasn't released, but they'll both be available in early September.
