We already know that the Fastap alternative typing system isn't as fast as advertised. But can the next generation be any better? Here are two working designs of how the next Fastap SureType will look. One is a QWERTY-ish layout with two letters per key, and the other is an alphabetical layout with one letter per key. Will any of these fly? I'd rather just stick to T9—after years of practice, I'm better on that than I am on a pocket-QWERTY.
