If you're looking for a media center PC sans the Media Center OS, Video Without Boundaries' MediaREADY MC is for you. It has all the features you'd expect from a multimedia PC, but rather than rely on Microsoft's OS, it uses its own software to deliver what it calls a "television-optimized interface." Your $899 also gets you a 200GB drive, built-in wireless, and cordless keyboard with remote. This isn't a top of the line media PC (especially not with its 1980 VCR looks), but should make for a nice bootleg TiVo when it comes out in January.
