There's source code everywhere! A few days ago, Google released the source code for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and now Amazon's released the code for its new Kindle Fire tablet.
The Kindle Fire is pretty awesome, but it's got a feeeew little UI quirks. The release will let hackers dig in and customize the OS without forcing users to move all the way to a non-Amazon Android build. And, you know, overclock the thing into the stone age. [Amazon via Brief Mobile via Techmeme]
DISCUSSION

Well played, Amazon.
