In the past, the delivery of a giant dessert item (cupcake or donut) to Google's lawn meant a new version of Android was incoming. Today, a giant eclair was delivered: We deduce that Android 2.0 should see release shortly.
This is all unconfirmed, of course: A giant pastry is not what we professionals would call incontrovertible evidence. But when a huge donut was dropped on Google's front lawn in September, Android 1.6 was released to developers within a few days. Rumor has it that Motorola's Sholes, due out for this holiday season, would be the first Android 2.0 phone, which would be in line with, well, this enormous eclair.
