I used my Nikon D40 camera to take 9 pictures of my laptop with the lid closing a bit more each time. I then edited the images in GIMP to crop and overlay the lid on the image. I saved it as I added a new lid, then repeated the process.

I used a fishing pole to dangle Milo's favorite chase object, a piece of grass, visible far right. I quit the burst prematurely and missed her crouch before launching herself out of frame! Used every OTHER frame in order to eliminate the stacking and difficulty of revealing one layer without eliminating the previous. Used the "flatten" function before saving

The photo was taken on February 26, 2010 at Afton Alps in Minnesota. The sequence was shot hand held and panned from right to left. Imported into Photoshop and stitched using Auto-Align and Auto-Blend modes. Then I used the lasso tool to copy the rider from each shot into a new top layer. Added layer masks to keep the overlapping of shots accurate. And finally, fine-tuned for color and exposure.
Camera was a Canon 7D equipped with a Tokina 11-16 lens and shooting at 8 frames per second.

I set up a tripod at the top of a steep hill with the above settings, set manual focus and turned VR off. Luckily my friend was willing to hurl himself off a cliff for a contest with no prize. I just fired continuously at the top until he ran out of inertia. I edited the photo in GIMP by layering the images and manually cutting holes in the top layers, no clone tool.

I was directly below the snowboarder, standing behind the jump ramp. All photos taken with Nikon D2x with Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens. I didn't use any tripod, it was all hand held. Aperture was around f/6.3 and shutter speed around 1/1000sec. No flash Photos are then merged together in Photoshop cs4.
