The 18mm lens on the Canon Rebel T1i meant I had to shoot from the hallway into the room and crop square, but the camera's 3200 ISO allowed a 1/160 second exposure to freeze the action.

These were shot with my Canon 7D in aperture priority mode. The method to the madness was to use the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens with the EF25 II Extension Tube attachment; taking a mirror outside I got as close to the mirror as possible and these were the results.

I used the olympus epl1's flash (at 1/64) to light my entirely white outfit (except for the tie) against a white wall.
The result: a chameleon like camouflage. The flash was powerful enough to blow out my face and clothes leaving only slight shadows where the creases of clothes are, and my facial features.

Using my camera's self-timer and a tripod I carefully setup my shot. Jumping back and forth, constantly adjusting the focal length I achieved what you now see before you. Plaid, proud, retro, eclectic, and with a unique sense of humor
