There have been a flood of new wireless Bluetooth speakers in the past two years, but Jawbone's Jambox line remains one of the best-known. The Big Jambox is a three pound, take-anywhere speaker with a pretty attractive design. Plus, it continues to get better through software—last week, a firmware update added an unheard of two more hours of battery life. Giz alum Mat Honan reviewed the Big Jambox last May, and really liked it. From the (hilarious) review:

Oh man, this thing sounds great. And it is quite loud. Uncomfortably so, even, in a small space. But better than volume is sound quality. Even maxed out, bass sounded smooth and not at all overblown, midranges came through nicely, and high notes sounded like MJ's ghost his own self... Fantastic design. Great sound. Easy set up. No brainer: It's a great buy, even at $299. It is probably even a better bargain than its smaller predecessor.

All4Celluar is selling refurbished "scratch 'n dent" Big Jamboxes for $158. That's about half the MSRP and a solid $130 less than Amazon wants for a new model. Sure, they're not new, but cosmetics doesn't change how a speaker sounds, and you're still covered with a 90 day warranty. If you take the refurbished risk, you'll end up with a Big Jambox for the same price as its little brother. [All4Cellular]
