A haunting short film about the ways a body moves after death

While we tend to associate death with stillness, the short film Danse Macabre explores the ways in which a human body can move in the hours and days after death, giving its subject an unexpected grace.

Be warned, this is an especially grim short, set in the aftermath of a murder suicide, and it's most definitely not for everyone. It's also NSFW for nudity.

Danse Macabre was conceived by Robert Lepage and directed by Pedro Pires.

Incredibly haunting. But, at the same time I found such beauty in how it was made. I didn't feel scared as so much as fascinated. Wow.
