It was a banger. I wouldn’t have been reading an article about MTG cards without it. Read more

They’ve been busy this year, first it was complaining/protesting the closure of splash at WDW to change it to Princess and the Frog, then the little mermaid review bombing, and just yesterday mourning the splash closure at Disneyland for the same thing. Read more
Magic fans have known this for about a year. The fact that all the racists are coming out of the woodwork now, when the mainstream announcement is made, tells you a lot about who is really getting angry at this: people who are threathened by pictures in a card game they don’t play. In other words immature, insecure… Read more
I think shorter seasons need to be applied to most of CWs shows. Especially the DC stuff. They’ve got some cool concepts but they all have so much fluff that disconnect from their arcs each season. Read more
Shorter episode seasons would have trimmed the garbage out, and made for better thought seasons. It was great up until season 6, then it seemed to try to use whatever it could from the garbage bins of other shows and make them stick. I so hated the ending, Dean could have been done so much better. Shit, even if you… Read more

Just wanna point out that WOTC has better security than the Pentagon. Tracking on the foil and cardboard, men at your door within a day, very impressive, especially as it’s for CCG not national secrets.

I think I’m slightly older than you, I think I was about 13 or so when I read Sorcerer’s Stone. Blasted through it in a day (and most of a night) and was hooked. I’m definitely struggling with my nostalgia vs. memories like you described, but I’m having a kid in August and I think it’s time to let the past die. I… Read more
