So only one of them is an *Elite* Alpha Trooper. The CS-12. It comes in blue. The other one, the Alpha Trooper CS-18, is yellow, and it has an inferior reverse-plunger mechanism that doesn’t work (even modded) nearly as well.
Modulus has longer range stock, so if you don’t plan to mod... but I would get a Stryfe and mod it. If you can find one.
I play with the Bay Area Nerf folks. Check Meetup or something, maybe there’s a group near you?
Show me where you can buy one. They only ever came with the Raider, as far as I know, and even the smaller 25-dart drums aren’t produced anymore?
Yep, blaster stock is absolutely way better as a stock.

Pretty hard to modify a motorized blaster to be more accurate. Shooting harder is easy: add a couple of IMR batteries and a pair of battery spacers instead of AAs. Here’s a readymade kit: http://www.dormlabs.com/home/28-high-v…

Worth noting that the Drop Grip and Dual Rail barrel come with the $50 Modulus, so if you’re sure you want a Modulus and also want those accessories, you’d be better off getting the $50 package deal and get a stock, 10-shot clip, darts, and crummy scope too.
The tragedy isn’t that I wore it. The tragedy is I had no idea what photographic white balance was at the time.
I would strongly suggest a PC with 4GB of RAM or more.
