There are two new sets joining the Architecture line for 2015: A cute reproduction of the massive Lincoln Memorial in Washington, and the famous Flatiron building in New York. We got photos of both.
Lincoln Memorial (21022) This set is just wonderful. Whenever the element that I know is a space antenna or laser gun is integrated into a model such as this it just makes me smile. I think they missed an opportunity with this set to include a microfig in a chair, but I'll add that to mine later.
Flatiron Building (21023) With the recent opening of the flagship Lego store at 200 5th Ave, in the Flatiron district, diagonal from the actual Flatiron building, we should have seen this coming. It has some really great elements and the build technique used to put the model off axis on the base is as unique as the building itself.
DISCUSSION
I don't think those are space antenna columns. I think those are white wand/lightsaber pieces stuck into open-stud round plates. So upside is that you can retrofit your mini-Lincoln Memorial with lightsabers.
