Quality Assurance Analyst 


About the Role:

G/O Media is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who will be responsible for testing out new features and ticketing any issues found, monitoring our sites for any anomalies that may have missed in QA or have been introduced by 3rd party code. The Quality Assurance Analyst will also monitor our internal communications with Editorial, Sales, and other teams to catch any issues being reported by other parts of the business. 


The ideal candidate is familiar with the concepts of content management platforms and has experience with multiple online services. You should be a great communicator with a helpful and problem solving attitude. 


Duties Include:

  • QA on new features being tested either through staging or feature switches on mobile/desktop on various sites
  • When a bug is discovered, documenting that bug and ticketing it
  • Responding to help desk tickets from internal staff that have noticed bugs
  • Responding to users who report bugs


You should have:

  • Technical aptitude, confident familiarity of computers, smartphones, tablets, and web based applications
  • Great English communication skills
  • Organized, autonomous, problem-solving attitude
  • Patient, empathetic, positive personality
  • 2-4 years of experience with content management platforms and multiple online services


Our team would be impressed by:

  • Experience working in QA or Support positions
  • Familiarity with CMSes
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks
  • Technological background
  • Familiarity with programmatic /online advertising (not mandatory)
