I thought this was a joke but no, it's actually the results for the German Lotto—called Lotto 6 as 49—for today's draw: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 37 (notice the extra nerd bonus: 1337) What are the chances of this happening? 1 in 15,537,573.
Of course, 1 in 15,537,573 are the chances of any six-number combination happening. The lotto machine has the same chances of picking the balls 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 37 as it has to of picking 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 or 15, 24, 26, 31, 30, and 35.
Another different matter would be if you had to draw the numbers in consecutive order. Obviously, getting the balls in consecutive order as you draw them is much harder than getting the numbers in random order.
