By now you’ve heard multiple stories about it: Henry Cavill’s epic mustache that brought Warner Bros. to its knees and the awful CGI work they did to edit the thing out of Justice League. If, somehow, you haven’t actually seen Superman’s digitally-shaved face yet, now’s your chance. Deep breaths, people.

Because of the way that international distribution of these kinds of films works, Justice League is actually due to be available on Blu-ray in certain Asian markets later this month. In anticipation of the film’s release, retailers have posted the first three minutes of the film online in glorious 1080p. That means that you can watch the awkward video-interview Superman gives to a bunch of kids for their podcast—the scene is notable because you can clearly see that something is up with Cavill’s face in the shot.

The overall shape of his mouth is off, particularly on the left side and it seems as if he’s having a rather difficult time speaking, a problem probably related to the fact that the upper half of the actor’s mouth was covered in facial hair and his lip and upper teeth had to be digitally recreated. This is the kind of thing that a solid VFX house can pull off given the proper budget and time to actually work on the shots, but that’s clearly not what happened here.

And to think, all of this could have been avoided by simply letting Superman have a glorious mustache.
