Imagine an iPad Dock With a Built-In Projector

Wowwee's Cinemin Slice is a pretty useful kitchen dock, perfect for the iPad, which is a kitchen computer. You dock in an iPad or iPhone, and the DLP Picoprojector takes care of putting the image where you can see it.

It also takes in mini-HDMI and VGA, but it's not spectacularly bright (only 16 ANSI lumens), if you're trying to watch stuff in a brightly-lit room. And it's only a 854x480 resolution, which is fine enough for iPad resolutions. No price yet. [Wowwee]

It's essentially their swivel pico projector cludged into a dock.

Those Pico's can't come close to producing a 55" image that could compare to my TV.

I'd just get an iPad TV out cable hooked into my AV setup, either direct VGA or with a VGA to HDMI adapter, and be done with it.
