Kids Today Barely Recognize Point-and-Shoot Cameras

Before cameras were a thing that was always in our pocket attached to our phones, human beings actually carried standalone gadgets for capturing casual photographs. Crazy, I know. Just ask these kids.

In the latest installment of the Fine Bros' Kids React series, they show a bunch of digital-era youngsters what looks like a 90's era analog point-and-shoot film camera. In fairness, most of the kids recognize right away that this is indeed a camera that they're looking at. Still, that doesn't mean that they have any idea how to use it. It's a perfect example of how the dead easy user interface of one era just doesn't translate to the next.

But kids, here's a protip: It helps to turn it on first.

Every time I see one of these "Kids React" videos, my reaction is, what a bunch of entitled brats. Uhhg, what would I do for an HOUR while waiting for my pictures to be developed?

Play Angry Birds and get off my damn lawn.
