Motorola's 3D clamshell phone (via parallax craziness), previously called Ming, would like to be called MT810 now. No reason was given by the leaker for the sterile naming conventions, but they did say 720p video is the latest confirmed feature.

That HD camera can also snap 5MP pics and has an LED flash to boot. The flip cover, the one that hlps create the 3D imagery when overlapped with the main screen if you'll remember, is also confirmed to be a capacitive touchscreen layer, with the underlying screen serving as a resistive digitizer, says Engadget and the original source, IT168. I own a Droid but I just don't know about this design. They should have just incorporated the outer lens material into the screen instead of using capacitive and resistive tech in the same device.

If you look carefully it's quit obvious that the "3D" lens layer is a pretty small surface. This just doesn't seem that appealing just to have the added feature of "3d". Most likely it won't be very impressive. I hope this is a first gen phone for Asia and it doesn't come out here until they perfect it and combine the screens.
