The gadgets coming out today are sure to make any kid happy, now even toddlers can get in on the netbook action with Asus' Disney Netpal.

• While it's no Tickle-Me-Elmo—Asus is banking on its new EeePC MK90, or "Disney Netpal", to be the new it toy amongst tech forward children. The netbook has two states, a parent mode that boots directly in to a non-customized Windows XP and a child mode that opens a Disney themed operating environment with customized programs and features. The Disney mode offers access to photo-editing software called Disney Pix, a media management program dubbed Disney Mix and a Disney web-browser with an email client. The Disney Browser and and email will only allow access to approved sites and email addresses, parents can set timers for when certain applications can be opened throughout the day. The Disney Netpal has a 8.9" LED backlit screen and is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor with 1 GB of RAM, three USB ports, VGA connectivity and 802.11 b/g/n wireless. Parents can get the Netpal now at Toys 'R' Us for $349.99, or they could just spend some quality time with their kids—just putting that out there. [PC Mag]
