The second season of Star Wars Rebels will conclude on March 30 with an hour-long episode and a major battle—a battle fans have been waiting for for years, but the combatants never saw coming. It’s the battle between Anakin Skywalker and his former apprentice, Ahsoka Tano.
In preparation for this epic showdown, Lucasfilm has graciously allowed io9/Gizmodo to exclusively debut this amazing video which tells the story of these two characters from their friendship during The Clone Wars, to their separation and inevitable conflict—a conflict that’s teased by a single, brand new line of dialogue at the very end of the video.
Now, what else is going to happen during the finale? Will this be the end of the Vader/Ahsoka storyline? We honestly don’t know. We’ll find out when you do. Suffice it to say we’re not exactly optimistic.
