BodyMedia fitness trackers have always been the ugly ducklings, because, well, they're ugly. Thankfully, that's about to change. The new Core 2 fitness tracker keeps tabs on a whole lot of metrics, and it's a lot easier on the eyes.
Intel makes a lot of processors. Too many, maybe. Don't know what the difference a Core i7 and a Core 2 Duo? A Bloomfield from a Wolfdale? A Sasquatch from a Yeti? You're not alone.
According to the chaps at the Eclipse Developer's Journal (EDJ), Intel is planning a six-core microprocessor, which will go by the Dunnington moniker.
Rather than continue hammering on AMD while they're down, Intel is apparently taking AMD's troubles as a little break of their own, delaying the launch of three 45nm quad-core Core 2 processors (Yorkfields) until Feb. or March, depending on AMD's release schedule for its upcoming tri-core and Phenom processors.
