Well, what Bay did to the Transformers themselves is what he’s done to the fifth film in the franchise, The Last Knight.

Transformers: The Last Knight only recently got its title, but the marketing machine is up and running already with a cryptic teaser for something coming next week.
Since every Transformers sequel until now has had some kind of subtitle, it was pretty obvious Transformers 5 would follow suit. Well, that title has now been revealed and it’s not just unexpected, it’s downright confusing.
