Nokia just gave us a look at their new N9 running MeeGo. It looks great, except that it's dead on arrival. But just in case you were unsure about Nokia's future plans, CEO Stephen Elop basically confirmed it's all over.
By now, you know that Nokia decided to side with Microsoft and Windows Phone 7 instead of Google and Android. Why didn't they want Android? Because Nokia felt that that would be going down without a fight.
"Nokia has about 35-40% of the total phone market. 1.1 billion users...I would have said that Motorola was our number one competitor a few years ago. Now, RIM, Microsoft, Apple."
