The State of Android: 160,000 Phones a Day and 65,000 Apps in the Market

Andy Rubin's at the Droid X event too. At Google IO last month, he says, they were selling 100,000 Android devices a day. Now they're selling 160,000 a day. And there's 65,000 apps in the market now.

160K Android devices a day equates to 4.8 million devices a month. I'm having doubts about these numbers, but, since Android devices also sell very well internationally (much, much better than iPhones, at least) it doesn't sound "too" far-fetched.
