John Fisher probably figured he’d gotten away with inappropriately touching that 10-year old girl. That is, until police showed him the photos his victim took of him mid-molestation on her Nintendo DS.
Fisher, age 46, initially denied touching the unidentified victim in January 2010 and November 2011 but recanted his testimony and admitted guilt when presented with “indisputable proof of what had happened,” according to Detective Constable Annabelle Bunn.
“She was brave enough to come forward and report the incident and give us a full and accurate account of what had gone on,” Bunn told The Daily Mirror. “Although Fisher initially denied assaulting her, when confronted with the image he had no choice but to concede he had done exactly as she had reported.” Ipswich Crown Court sentenced Fisher to three and a half years in custody and indefinite inclusion on the British nation sex offender registry.
