With the impending death of Google Reader, RSS fiends are scrambling to find a replacement platform. And options abound. Feedly knows this, and it wants to make your transition to the other side as painless as possible. Meet the revamped Feedly mobile app.

What does it do?

Feedly sucks up your RSS feeds from Google Reader and spits them back out into a lovely, bright, magazine-style interface that’s as intuitive as it is clean.

Why do we like it?

Feedly is perhaps the smallest leap Google Reader diehards can take, so you won’t be entirely out of your comfort zone, particularly since you can import your already-set-up feeds directly to the platform—totally hassle free. And this newest update only sweetens the deal. New headline-only views make scrolling through headlines a breeze when you just want to browse, and the “Must Read” feature lets you give priority to certain feeds, something that’s been severely lacking in the past. Mark things you’ve already read, save others for later—all tantalizing. But the real question will be: is it enough for you to make the jump before Google Reader officially gives its last, dying breath?
