See the Faded Glory of Abandoned Theaters in Stages of Decay

There’s something eerily enticing about abandoned spaces. Stages of Decay is no exception—it’s collection of photographs by Julia Solis of once-glitzy theaters that have fallen into disrepair.

The 160-page book is available on Amazon for $24, it’s filled with pics of spaces from all over the world, from formerly glamorous movie theaters to old vaudeville stages. Part of what makes these spaces so haunting is the undeniable polarity of past versus present. Sure, they might have been showcases of fame in the past, now they’re all but forgotten. Kind of poetic, don’t you think? [Amazon via DesignTaxi]
