If you want to have the most unique home on your block, you can’t do much better than living in a gutted 747. The problem is, they’re really expensive, what with all that equipment and those engines. Well, good news! Now you can buy a gutted 747, free of cockpit equipment, engines, and pretty much everything else, for the low, low price of $100,000. Yeah, that’s expensive, but it’s a lot less than a fully loaded model. And if you just want certain parts, such as wings or cockpits, you can do that as well.
