The HTC video driver controversy might be coming to an end, as the promised software fix may or may not be released soon. Why the uncertainty? Because HTC themselves didn't specify whether this update even fixes it, not confirming one way or the other that on it enabling Qualcomm's 2D or 3D graphics support. Actually, we're no more informed after reading, other than know HTC is still working on a fix and it' still coming. [Phone News]

Good thing I traded my tilt for an iPhone. Back to apples. You know a apple a day keeps Steve from saying boom everyday?
what's up w/ the grammer? do you have a tilt vibrating in your pants?
@Weihovah: grammar ;)
@Weihovah: You = Fail.

Always proofread before hitting submit. Especially when you're criticizing someone else's grammar.
See? Much more effective.
@workingonyourinvoice:
Maybe you should learn the difference between a spelling mistake and a grammar mistake *before* calling someone out on a "fail". No?
Haven't we been waiting for this damn update since the end of march, which was when it was scheduled for release????
Allow me to be the first to call bullshiat. I'll believe it when I see it, and based on HTC's track record thus far, that'll be right around the first of Neveruary.

@marm0lade: Both were present.
Who watches videos on phones?
I pointed it out last time, and I'll point it out again.
They never said they'd release video drivers. They said they would release updates which would improve other things, and that might have a knock on effect.
Quote from the old press release:
"HTC DOES plan to offer software upgrades that will increase feature functionality, over the air wireless speeds and other enhancements for some of the phones being criticized, but we do not anticipate including any additional support for the video acceleration issues cited in customer complaints."
