Depending on who you speak to, the Incredible will be the next HTC phone to launch in the US. Or maybe it’s the Supersonic. There was even talk that they may be one and the same.

Now though, leaks are suggesting the Supersonic will be launching next week, exclusive to Sprint. It may even be that first WiMAX phone we’ve heard tufts of rumors about—though if you read Jason’s pros and cons about 4G yesterday, you’ll know that’s not necessarily as good as it sounds. It’s supposedly similar to the HD2 with a 4.3-inch screen, and runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon chip.

Verizon is being tipped to launch the Incredible in just two weeks’ time, which has a more superior camera by the sounds of the 8MP sensor, and will run on Android 2.1 with HTC’s Sense interface slicked on top. It’s already shown up in Verizon’s system, so it’s really just a matter of time now. [WSJ and DailyTech]
