Normally, we don’t take much notice of low-level Samsung messaging phones, but when they call it the :), it’s tough to ignore. Yes, Samsung has named one of their phones an emoticon. They hear the kids just love ’em!
Beyond being absolutely impossible to search for, the Samsung 🙂 is a QWERTY slider with a 1.3-megapixel camera and T-Mobile’s “Social Buzz,” a software connection to various social networks. It’s hitting T-Mobile along with the very similar Gravity 3 and Gravity Y sliders.
So yeah, probably not a phone you’re interested in. I’m just curious as to how you’re supposed to pronounce this. The smiley? The colon-parentheses? The poor marketing decision? [Pocket Lint]
