The Motorola WX445 Is A Cheap Android Phone For VerizonS

With so many awesome Android phones available, why would you buy a crappy one? That's the question the Verizon Motorola WX445 faces—Engadget's source describes it as a "cheaper looking" Palm Pre that's just "not a very impressive phone."

The Motorola WX445 (won't be its final name) is said to have a puny 2.5 to 3 inch touchscreen, a tiny 1170mAh battery, and supposedly runs Motoblur. One redeeming feature is that it'll run Android 2.1, so it's not the worst thing in the world but there is just so much better out there. But hey, maybe the guy who invented cell phones would like it. [Engadget]
