Best Buy, who must think that if people are silly enough to shop there, they might be a big enough sucker to get ripped off on HDMI cables, is offering a “diamond” “high-speed” 2-foot HDMI cable for the most ridiculous price of $940. What a steal!

What a criminal rip off. It’s a glitch, of course, but it serves as a good reminder for everyone: never ever splurge on any fancy pants HDMI cable even if it promises double rainbows, anti-virus protection or M-M-M-MONSTER-level output. Just spend a few bucks and buy cables on Monoprice or AmazonBasics. It’s all the same thing. [Best Buy via Reddit]
