A few folks are reporting the planned release of 2- and 4GB Shuffles for those who want a lot of music but can’t read so they don’t need helpful MP3 ID tag information. 256MB or 512MB I could understand—it’s nice to be surprised. But once you get into the 4GB range, you’ve got a problem. You’re going to hit runs of really crappy songs that you might have forgotten in your iTunes Library and then you forget the title and can’t remove it. So after updating the Shuffle you get 15 dumb songs in a row and you begin to cry. Then they escort you out of the bris.
