Since we had such a great response with our request for a picture of DOG wearing THUMPS, I’d like to post another APB this fine Friday. The first person to follow these rules to the letter gets a copy of my book about hackers and stuff because Joel is hoarding all the good prizes. If there’s a tie, we’ll give it to the person who gets all the extra, extra points.
1. The image must include today’s date. Hold up a newspaper if you have to or hold the phone up to your screen with today’s Gizmodo page showing. I have images.google.com as well, you know.
2. Extra points for a picture of someone holding the phone up to their ear and saying “You’ll never believe what I’m talking on!”
3. Extra extra points of that someone is a lady and not your pasty cubicle neighbor.
4. Extra extra super extra points if that person is wearing 80s garb.
5. This must be the Sports Illustrated football phone. There are other football phones out there, so don’t get cute, punks.
