I was sitting on this story for a while because it was kind of weird, but I just can’t stand it any more. From what I gather, the folks at Max-Planck-Gesellschaft have created artificial nano sperm. Now this is on a nano scale, so it’s not like these fellas have visible wiggly tails, but they’re using filaments to transport molecules from place to place.
These things are called biomimetic transports and they’ve even figured out how to decrease traffic jams while these guys wiggle around.
