Land-line phones are a thing of the past. With the advantages of cell phones people are ditching cheap land-lines for a little more expensive convenience. A happy medium may have been found. A British company BT is launching a service called BT Fusion. A cell phone connects wirelessly to a hub in the home, when ready to leave just take the phone with you for standard cell phone usage. It is predicted to be 95% cheaper while being used at home. Right now it is being tested among 400 U.K. participants with a full release due out in September.
