It’s been a long time since I rock and rolled, but this kind of makes me want to take up Old Lucille again. Variax Line6 makes custom, programmable guitars called the ‘Variax’ that can mimic any type of stringed instrument known to man. Now they have hot software that allows you to change everything from tuning to the capacitors in the pick-ups in these self-same guitars. They announced this software last year but only just now got around to shipping it.
