Drone OS

I know I harp on this Terminator-esque future of smart weapons, but I think we should all get a copy of the script and read it together one week. On August 29, 1997 Skynet became operational and the rest was history. So lets assume the writers were a few years off. That means we'll all be meat puppets by August 29, 2007.

Case in point: the Drone OS. Designed by DARPA, this operating system is designed to allow pilotless drones to communicate with each other and pass data during flights. It also allows for remote management of software updates. Now, we all know how good Windows Update is. What makes us think that someone isn't going to crack the WEP code on some Predator drone and convince it to drop 500 deep-dish pizzas on Detroit?
