I’ve seen a few of these things come and go and none of them have been really able to survive for longer than a few months. I mean, there’s already freecycle and Craigslist out there, so “free love hippie exchanges” are pretty well covered. However, this is a parts exchange for geeks by geeks so maybe that will keep them going for a bit. Seems like a nice, friendly way to share PC parts, but what do I know?
