Sheer madness! GB25, an SK ODM, has created a tiny flash MP3 player that acts as a VoIP phone. It doesn’t appear to use WiFI so we’re assuming it’s some sort of VoIP/Skype compatible device that turns into a handset or VoIP/Headset system when plugged into a PC. They come with up to 2GB of flash storage and play all the standard formats.
If they CAN make some thing, should they? Can this abomination stand? I suppose this is an example of convergence from the opposite direction—whereas phones are approaching MP3 players, MP3 players are also approaching phones. When they meet, there will be a supernova.
