Hebrew on iPod Flap

By

Reading time 1 minute

It seems a developer named Edo Mendelson has created a program to allow Hebrew support on the iPod but the Apple distributor in Israel won’t support or repair any devices that have been updated in such a grave and Hebraic manner.

The result is a grassroots petition and fund-raising effort by Edo in order to support downloads of the warez. It will be very interesting to see how this turns out, as Apple has been historically picky about that constitutes warranty-breaking behavior and what doesn’t. Add a far-flung repair service into the mix and you’ve got an iPod ruckus.

We want Hebrew in our iPOD! [Niro Thanks, Nir!]
