With Carly gone, the boys at HP could either rock out full throttle with an incredible line-up of uber-great products or they can manufacture and sell more easy to use mass-market digicams. They chose the latter.
The M517 is a 5-megapixel cam with 3x optical zoom and full PictBridge sharing capabilities. I hope, however, this is one of the last cams we see out of HP in a while and that the venerable castle of Mr. Hewlett and Mr. Packard go back to designing something useful like PDA phones and rugged, thin-and-light laptops squarely aimed at the US market.
