Intel’s In-Car PC

Reading time 1 minute

In the future, computers will be stuck into the headrests of my parents’ old Ford Aerostar. This prototype looks like it was torn from the pages of Omni magazine circa 1984 and the headline, below, is a dead lump of coddling prose. If in-car PCs will ever come to fruition, they will be completely wireless, creating a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/WUSB/whatever bubble around the passengers and sending them maps, music, and video. They won’t pop out of TV trays nor will they be embedded into seats and ceilings.
