Also new for 2022, this laser tag-esque maze outfits you with your very own steampunk weaponry to shoot vampires through the heart as you venture in a LARP-light skirmish on your very own hunt. I love the original version of this concept, which was “Special Ops: Infected,” an apocalyptic zombie survival squad mission from a few years back that tallied your kills. This year the guns just fired all the time without needing to find re-load spots, which sorta sucked its original fun and stakes away. We loved the new setting and how it allowed for more theming freedom, but definitely want to see more of the game elements return for what was once the best new haunt offering in a long time. Let’s hope for an upgrade!
