A nice, streamlined digicam has great macro functions and a futuristic design (without looking like a robot turd). The Konica Minolta Dimage Z20 has three point auto-focus that encourages consistently sharp 5-megapixel images. The only complaint was some artifacting in the final images, which plagues just about every camera out there.
It also has an 8X optical zoom (rawr!) and a focus-depth minimum of .4 inches in macro mode. That means you can get up close and personal with flowers and bugs (the only legally authorized nouns that can be shot in macro mode).
