It’s always a good time to go shopping for the Star Wars fan in your life, because they deserve it, and because there are good deals on all-year round. You can get all sorts of cool things with big discounts if you know where to look, and today, we’ve found one of our favorite deals has come back again. That’s right, you can get your very own R2-D2 droid again.

Naturally, it’s not going to be running around ending empires, but it will look good on your shelf. That’s because this is the Lego Star Wars R2-D2 Set, and while it’s usually $100, you can get it for $80 instead today. That’s 20% off, and that’s the kind of deal we are here for. There’s no way of knowing how long it’ll last for though, so if you do want to pick this one up, make sure you’re quick.

Beep Boop

As ever, a lot of the joy in this set is going to come from actually putting it all together. You’re going to be able to spend a few hours, whether alone or with a loved one, building this beautiful 1,050 piece set, and that’s a lot of great quality time. Just put on the Star Wars sound track or some… cantana music, and you’re in for a great evening or two. That’s only party of it though, because once you’ve spent that time actually putting it into one big piece, you’re good to start enjoying it as an amazing display piece.

This is a display set, which means you’re not meant to play with it, although legally, we’re not sure anybody can stop you if you want to do so. Just keep in mind it’s designed for fans who are at least 10, as those who are younger might find the building process a little too intricate. It  does have a few moving parts though, and it comes with a mini-figure and a little plaque as well, which is a great way to celebrate the series.

This is an amazing set, and it’s always nice to see it on sale. These deals don’t tend to last for very long though, so if you do want to get your hands on it, we recommend being as fast as possible in order to avoid missing out on the $80 price tag. You’ll kick yourself if you wait too long and have to pay full price, or wait months for the next discount.
