Prime Day starts, and deals are here. We’re spotting some excellent discounts on Apple products, so now is a good time to grab all that’s been sitting in your cart for less. If your laptop needs an upgrade, the latest 13-inch MacBook Air with the M5 chip (16GB Memory, 512GB SSD) is down 15% on Amazon.
It usually goes for $1,299, but is currently available to grab for $1,099 thanks to this discount. You can choose from four colors (Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight), plus can get up to three months of Apple Arcade, Fitness+, and News+ for free with your purchase. Note that early deals, especially on popular items, move fast. If you have been thinking of picking up a new MacBook for school or work, making a move now can save you some serious cash.
Fast and efficient
The M5 chip offers incredible speed and performance for almost all the tasks you throw at it. It can handle the regular, everyday stuff, as well as demanding applications without much problem. In fact, the faster CPU and unified memory here keep things responsive, which especially comes in handy when you’re working across a few different programs at the same time! You’ll also appreciate Apple Intelligence, which is a comprehensive suite of AI features to help you with tasks (writing, editing, summarizing texts/emails) throughout the day.
Everything takes place on a spacious, bright 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display. The support for one billion colors makes content appear vibrant, and text look sharp. There’s a 12MP Center Stage camera right above the screen that keeps you in frame during video calls. It supports Desk View, which can show both you and a top-down view of your workspace at the same time just as well.
Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe charging port, a headphone jack, the Apple N1 wireless chip for Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. The setup lets you add up to two external displays simultaneously, so if you’re someone who likes to spread your work across multiple screens, you’ll have plenty of room to do that here.
The M5 MacBook Air is now discounted by 15%, which takes $200 off its list price, dropping it to $1,099. The offer applies to all four colors, so you can pick whichever color you like for less today. Be sure to act fast though, as we can’t guarantee how long this discounted price will stick around.
