Apple products don’t come cheap, especially now that the brand has recently raised prices across its lineup. If you’ve been wanting to pick up a MacBook but don’t want to wait until Black Friday to grab one at a discount, we’ve got great news.
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Air with the M5 chip (16GB, 512GB SSD) is down 15% on Amazon, which drops its price from $1,299 to $1,099. That’s $200 in savings, plus you’ll also receive up to three months of Apple Arcade, Fitness+, and News+ for free with your purchase. Several colors are part of the sale, so you can choose between options when placing an order! But as with most Apple deals, we won’t recommend waiting too long to grab it. It’s expected to expire soon, so it’s better to get yours before it comes to that.
Long battery life, strong performance
This MacBook Air packs Apple’s powerful M5 chip, which can tackle resource-intensive tasks pretty well. It’s ideal for all the regular tasks (browsing, streaming, attending video meetings), but won’t disappoint during demanding tasks either. The faster CPU and unified memory make it just as great for multitasking with a bunch of tabs/apps open at once, so it’s going to support you through busy days, too. Furthermore, the battery backs you up with up to 18 hours of total life. This means that with standard use, a single charge can easily last around two days, or at least one if you’re feeling really productive.
Apple Intelligence also deserves a mention here. It lets you create images, brainstorm ideas, write, and get other things done with less effort. This way, you can spend more of your energy doing things that actually need your attention instead of wasting time on the boring stuff.
Regardless of what you’re doing though, the spacious 13.6-inch screen delivers impressive, incredibly detailed visuals for everything. Content will appear vibrant and detailed, while text gets sharper and easier to read. Additionally, if you often attend online meetings or classes, you’ll appreciate the built-in 12MP Center Stage camera that keeps you in the frame even when you’re moving around.
As for the connectivity options, the two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe charging port, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6 have you covered. These are enough for most basic needs, like plugging in some accessories and wirelessly pairing with other devices, etc.
The MacBook Air M5 offers plenty of useful, impressive features. It’s ideal for users who need a powerful machine that’s fully capable of handling demanding projects. The current discount drops the price to $1,099, down from $1,299. You save $200, but get some freebies with your purchase.
