In hopes of preventing or reducing future Mad Cow Outbreaks—good band name, BTW—the National Cattlemen's Beef Association is planning on marking all of its cattle with RFID tags. This will allow the group to identify and quarantine possible affected cattle without scaring the Japanese, Canadians, Mexicans, British, and everybody else who is afraid of a little bovine spongiform encephalopathy. Come on, people! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Group also intends to tag meat eaters for future purposes, as of yet unrevealed.
